When Your IT Team were approached to redevelop the Life Supports Counselling website from the provided designs, the existing website had a litany of issues in terms of ease of use and end-user (client) usability.
Finding the right information was difficult and slow.
Some of the complaints were that the search functionality was broken and confusing for clients and that the site was generally poorly structured.
When we showed the client and their SEO consultant what Umbraco could do, it didn't take much convincing to move away from the existing WordPress platform and rebuild the website from scratch rather than attempt to fix the inherent problems with the existing implementation.
Built on Umbraco, the website features dynamic content that corresponds to the users' chosen region at the state level in Australia, displaying relevant content with a dynamic search feature that allows fine tuning results by adding a postcode or town filter and displaying relevant resources on a map.
Coupled with a friendly and dynamic user interface and lots of opportunities to connect to their chosen counsellor, this website puts information at the users' fingertips – where it should be and is needed.
Custom integrations include form entries imported automatically into Life Supports' custom CRM solution.
