Key Skills and Desired Experience.

  • You must have at least 5 years commercial experience.

  • ASP.Net/.Net Core MVC and/or Razor Pages including Web API.

  • Recent MVC-Based CMS Experience.

  • HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, SASS, Webpack, Grunt.

  • Solid backend software development skills & experience.

  • Solid frontend software development skills & experience.

  • SQL Server / Transact-SQL.

  • Know your way around Visual Studio and vsCode.

  • Know how to work with GIT.

  • Understanding of agile development processes.

Highly Regarded.

  • MCP/MCSD Certification in relevant technologies.

    • Ensuring that the implemented solution is in line with the documentation and raising issues of discrepancy immediately with the Project Management for review and rectification.

    • Responsible for ensuring you adhere to the production and administrative guidelines of Your IT Group – including hours tracking, disciplined project communication and transparency in the development process.

    • Provide estimates on new project work (including change requests for existing clients) in collaboration with the Team Lead consistent with the committed response times.

Training & Development

The Senior Developer is expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand their knowledge.  This may take the form of pursuing relevant certification (Your IT Group may at its discretion pay or subsidise the cost of training); researching new technology and ideas both at work and in personal time; and presenting to peers on related topics.

The opportunity for attendance at industry-related conferences and forums including but not limited to overseas Umbraco conferences will be given from time to time.
