IT Support - just what does it mean to you?

What do you think when you hear the words "IT Support"? It sounds official, impersonal, and sometimes scary as these are the people that you call when things go wrong. And a lot of the time, you may not understand what they are doing, but you have to trust them. And they speak in a language all their own. If this is your experience, then as the writer of this blog, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way.

I’m the support guy for our company, and I really do take the job of IT Support personally. We like to see ourselves as your business partner – by that, I mean that we look at what your business does, how you do it, and who you do business with. If we don't look at the whole picture, then the technology that you rely on can become a puzzle where the pieces don't really fit. By getting the full picture, we know how critical things might be when you call us. It's important for us to know how much it costs you when your systems don't work as they should.

Here at Your IT Team, we monitor your systems watching for overloaded or unused components so that we can advise you of incidents before they happen. Or what might be best if you need an upgrade. We watch your systems for hacker intrusions & virus threats. We even look at your Office 365 licenses to make sure that you're getting the most out of your subscription.

If you're not getting the best value for your money, we feel that it's our job to let you know, so that you can think about making adjustments. And yes, we do fix computers as well, but your business is so much more than just a broken or slow computer. It's all the other little things in-between that keep your business operating at its best that really matter to us.

What hours do we work? Yes, there are the normal business hours, but If we're near a screen, we're ready to help. Send us a message, or give us a call.

That's how our company thinks. Urgent onsite support when you need it, but we also know that business hours are for business. So if we can help you outside of those hours, we think that’s the best way to go – for both you and your clients.
